Merch on hand-distressed blanks
We create merch in Berlin using unique, hand-finished textile blanks by WASHED GREY STUDIO
These are garment-dyed blanks with washed-out tones, distressed details and manual finishing. This type of textile is different from a standard catalog base and works well for projects with a vintage character.
You send us your design — we help turn it into a finished product.
We can handle screen printing, DTF or DTG printing, embroidery, sewn-in labels, packaging, warehouse stickers, order preparation and door-to-door delivery.
This is not classic print-on-demand on a standard base.
This is merch made on textiles with their own texture, color and character.
How it works
1. Choose your textile
Select the blanks from our assortment.
Minimum order: from 20 pieces per design / style.
Sizes can be mixed within the order.
2. Send us your project
Contact us and send your design, logo or merch idea.
We will review your project, suggest the most suitable decoration method, calculate the cost and prepare an offer.
3. Confirm your order
After payment, we start production.
From there, we handle printing, finishing, packaging and preparation for shipping.
Production time
If the required blanks are in stock, we usually ship within approximately 1-2 week after payment.
If the required blanks are not in stock, we place the order into the next sewing and finishing queue.
In this case, production usually takes 4–8 weeks.
To avoid paying the full amount upfront, you may be able to use Klarna installment payments for up to 36 months, subject to Klarna approval.
Samples
In our shop, in the BLANKS section, you can order the textiles you're interested in so you can check the color, texture, density, and fit before placing your merch order.
Unfortunately, we cannot produce one individual sample with your own design, because printing, embroidery and finishing require production minimums.
Price guide
Textile
We offer blank textile products directly from the manufacturer. Volume discounts apply as follows: 20–49 items: 35%; 50–99 items: 45%; 100+ items: 50%. These discounts are applied to the prices listed on the WASHED GREY STUDIO website, plus VAT.
Screen printin / DTF printing / DTG printing / Embroidery
Prices depend on the project: artwork complexity, print size, number of colors, print position, garment type, quantity and finishing requirements. Every project is calculated individually.
As a rough market reference, screen printing for a run of 100 pieces with a one-color print can be around €2.45 per print.
Digital printing / DTG / DTF for a small run of 1–10 pieces can be around €15.00 per print side. For 100–199 pieces, it can be around €6.40 per print side.
This is only a market reference, not a fixed price list. Send us your design, quantity, garment choice and preferred decoration method — we will check the project and prepare an individual quote.
Sewn-in labels / Packaging / Warehouse stickers
For a 100-piece production run, additional finishing services can be calculated as a rough reference:
- Sewing in labels: from €1.00 per piece
- Packing incl. polybag: from €0.50 per piece
- Attaching hangtags: from €0.50 per piece
- Applying stickers: from €0.25 per piece
- Adding flyers / inserts: from €0.25 per piece
Final pricing may vary depending on garment type, packaging requirements, supplied materials and total quantity. Every project is calculated individually.
Who it’s for
This format is suitable for bands, brands, studios, artists, tattooers, skate crews, bars, garages and other projects that need merch on a non-standard textile base.
Why we work only with our blanks
The final result depends not only on the design, but also on the base itself: the fit, color, fabric, treatment and overall feel of the garment.
That is why we work only with textiles from our own assortment. This allows us to better control the look, decoration quality and final result of the project.
This approach helps create merch that differs from standard T-shirts and hoodies from regular catalogs.
